Ryan ignited Fired-Up Automotive on July 4th, 2005 – his personal “Independence Day” from the usual grind. What started as a single-bay operation in Turner Valley with just Ryan on the tools quickly accelerated. Within six months, demand exploded, pushing him to a larger space (the old Flare Auto Shop) and necessitating a growing team of mechanics and a dedicated service writer. The business kept revving; soon, even that three-bay spot felt too small. That’s when Ryan decided it was time to build the state-of-the-art facility we call home today. Now, we’re powered by full-time mechanics, a skilled apprentice, and a dedicated front-end staff, all operating across five spacious bays to get you back on the road faster.

At Fired-Up Automotive, our mission is simple: deliver honest, professional repairs and guaranteed service to the incredible Foothills community. We’ve built our reputation on high-quality workmanship, the deep expertise of our team, and the transparent way we treat every valued customer. We’re always ready to go the extra mile to ensure our shop meets and exceeds your expectations. Ryan Larson

Hi there! I’m Ryan Larson, and Black Diamond has always been home. I’ve actually been in this industry for over 30 years, and it’s been quite a journey! I first opened our shop in Turner Valley back in 2005, and we’ve been happily settled at our current Black Diamond location since 2010. When I’m not there, you’ll usually find me enjoying the outdoors, whether I’m team roping, hitting the trails on my dirt bike, or casting a line fishing. On the personal side, I have two great boys, Riley and Jace, and a wonderful fiancée, Jan.

Bill Rarick

I’m Bill Rarick. With over 30 years as a mechanic, I bring a lot of GM expertise to the team. I’ve lived locally my whole life, growing up right here in the area. I really enjoy working in such a friendly place where I know so many people around town!

Riley Larson

I’m Riley Larson, and I’ve called this community home my whole life. I’ve been working as a mechanic for several years now and recently finished my third year of apprenticeship. Outside of work, you’ll often find me on my dirt bike, or enjoying the outdoors.

Hayes Thomson

I’m Hayes Thomson. I enjoy my work here at the shop, especially handling tires and other tasks. I’m from originally from Lethbridge, but found my new home in Black Diamond. In my free time, I like to stay active with golf, fishing, and hockey.

Jacob Klaiber

I’m Jacob. I have been involved in the automotive industry for a long time. I enjoy working at Fired Up because I get to connect with the Diamond Valley community on a very personal level! I spend a lot of my free time camping and enjoying the beautiful scenery we get to call home here in Diamond Valley!
